For Lance, achieving that delicate balance between the rational and the abstract has been somewhat of a lifelong pursuit. As president of one of the most respected branding firms – a career that spans over 34 years – Lance has created visual identities for a bevy of blue chip brands. Freshly graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in the 70’s, he immediately struck out on his own designing corporate identities, sales collateral and advertising programs. Within a few years his firm was pioneering the idea of integrated marketing communications with offices in Denver, Dallas and San Francisco. Today Lance continues his pursuit of innovation as a brand strategist and successful abstract expressionist painter. Creating brand messages meant to communicate with many is the secret of his business success.
